Brockholes Quarry - 21st March 2008
Not a Great Deal seen this afternoon but it was nice to see an increase to 2 Redshank. Maybe these are two different birds to the bird that has been present in the last couple of Days.
Your pictures are looking better all the time! I still haveb't been to check for s martin or lrp at Light foot green yet, might go on Sunday.
Thanks for the Blog. I know most of the pics make it look just like the others, but it's quite hard to describe it exactly through the pics, as it was much easier to view in real life. And havving been waiting to see a full adult, for a long time, i knew exactly what to look form and it was quite distinctive.
I agree, theres nothing like becoming booksmart on a bird and then finally finding/seeing one! That tense mment when you catch a glimpse and then think, surely not.
