


I went to twitch the waddington fell Great Grey Shrike and was lucky to get wonderful light and relatively good views of the bird. With a telescope, the photos would be much better as the distance was about 100 meters and 75 meters at best.

SD720470 - the bird is very mobile, but when i saw the bird, i saw it on the east side of the road just past the Moorcock inn... good luck, it took me 3 goes!

Nice find, I only ever saw one of these in the UK (near Rufford about 20 odd years ago).......
